CHANDIGARH: The Rotary Club of Chandigarh Midtown and Sanjivni Medical and Educational Trust organised a free eye check-up camp in the memory of Late Col Dr Jawahar Luthra.

The Rotary Club of Chandigarh Midtown and Sanjivni Medical and Educational Trust organised a free eye check-up camp in the memory of Late Col Dr Jawahar Luthra.

The chief guest on the occasion was PGI Director Dr Jagat Ram, who fondly remembered the contribution of Dr Luthra as a great eye specialist and a human being.

He felicitated the volunteers and partners in rotary service and appreciated the efforts of Dr SPS Grewal and staff of Grewal Eye Institute.

Dr Rita Kalra, president of the Rotary Club of Chandigarh Midtown, thanked the volunteers for their special effort in making a difference. Indu Luthra and her family were overwhelmed with support of Inner Wheel members and rotarians of the Chandigarh Midtown. The event was attended by Prof IC Pathak, Prof Pandey from PGI, Dr Neeraj President IMA. Narinder Choudhary, President RCC, Daddu Majra, expressed gratitude to rotarians for their support.
