In the wake of World Heritage Day, the University School of Open Learning (USOL), Panjab University (PU), organised a talk on ‘Nurturing the heritage of modernity’ on Thursday.

Prof Sangeeta Bagga Mehta, Principal at Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA), talked about the theme to the students. Prof Bagga took interest in the conservation of modern heritage ensembles of Chandigarh. Capitol Complex, a work of Le Corbusier, was the thrust area of her conversation. Bagga highlighted initiatives taken by the Chandigarh Administration to preserve this site.
