Expert dwells on Constitutional law at RBU

The University School of Law, Rayat Bahra University, organised a special lecture on Constitutional law at the university auditorium on Wednesday. Prof Virendra Kumar, founder Director, Chandigarh Judicial Academy, delivered the keynote address on ‘Remembering Dr BR Ambedkar: How to avert conflict between Supreme Court and government’.

Prof Virendra Kumar highlighted the farsightedness of Dr Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution. Citing various landmark judgments of the Supreme Court, Prof Kumar emphasised as to how the Apex Court had succeeded through its constant efforts in retaining and preserving the spirit of the Constitution. — TNS
