Chandigarh: People suffering from spinal complications will now be able to live a normal life after a much more comfortable medical procedure and shorter hospital stay than before. This observation was made at the international conference, “11th minimally invasive spine surgery update-2018 and endoscopic spine surgery live and cadaveric workshop”, organised by Trinity Hospital, here. Around 70 doctors from across the country and abroad attended the two-day scientific programme. Experts said the techniques would help shorten the learning curve and minimise complications when used real time. The two-day conference was inaugurated by GMCH-32 Director-Principal BS Chavan along with Maj Gen Rashmi Dutta, Commandant, Command Hospital, Western Command, Chandimandir. Vivek Attray, a retired IAS officer, and Dr OP Kande, member, Punjab Medical Council, were also present. — TNS
