A Mohali police constable was allegedly attacked by two men late last night when he asked them to close their dhaba.

The dhaba owners, Jatinder Singh and Tejinder Singh, have been booked. The dhaba is located near the VR Punjab mall on the Kharar road.

According to the police, the incident took place at 1.30 am when Constable Gurdhyan Singh was on Police Control Room duty. He noticed the dhaba open at the odd hour and asked the owners to close it.

However, they started arguing with him. They then allegedly thrashed him, tore his clothes and removed his turban.
