Deepali tops in commerce from Panchkula

PANCHKULA: Deepali Jain of St Soldier School in Sector 16 here has topped the commerce stream by securing 97.4 per cent marks in the CBSE Class XII examinations, the results of which were declared on Thursday.

Deepali Jain of St Soldier School in Sector 16 here has topped the commerce stream by securing 97.4 per cent marks in the CBSE Class XII examinations, the results of which were declared on Thursday.

Paras Jindal and Khushi Puri of Satluj Public School, Sector 4, bagged second place in the city by securing 95.8 per cent marks in commerce stream.

Deepali said she wanted to become a Chartered Accountant (CA) so that she could assist her father in the family business. She said her father Raj Kumar Jain is a businessman and mother Anita Jain is a housewife. She said apart from school and tuition, she used to study for 5 to 6 hours daily for revision.
