The annual three-day cultural fest of the PGI - ‘Zenith-2019’ will kick off on May 24.

Addressing a press conference here today, Dr Uttam Thakur, president of the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD), said the aim was to encourage residents and students of the PGI for participation. The event is expected to bring together 7,000 healthcare professionals under one roof.

Moreover, literary and sports events are also being organised simultaneously during the event. Faculty, resident doctors and paramedical staff will participate in various events such as dance, singing, drama, creative writing, quiz, sports and fun activities. The event will be inaugurated on May 24 at 5 pm and will continue till May 26.

Dr Jagdish Chaturvedi will tickle the funny bones on the first day. Actors Amy Virk and Sonam Bajwa will enthral the audience with their performances on the second day, whereas Sufi singer Satinder Sartaaj will perform on May 26.

The ARD team, including Dr Rimjhim, Dr Uttam, Dr Ashish, Dr Prithwiraj, Dr Deepkanth, Dr Shruti, Dr Pranay and Dr Jitender, will be part of preparations.
