Cricket trials tomorrow

Chandigarh: Chandigarh Cricket Tennis Ball Association, affiliated to Tennis Ball Cricket Federation of India, will conduct trials to select the city team for the All India Tennis Ball Cricket Championship to be held at Sunder Nagar, Himachal Pradesh, from June 21, at Joy land Montessori School, Sector 38, on June 16. Chandigarh: Pukhraj Singh hammered a vital 41 to help hosts St Joseph’s School, Sector 44, register a seven-wicket win over Knowledge School, Kharar, in the Little Star Summer Cricket Tournament here on Thursday. Set a victory target of 136, St Joseph’s rode on Pukhraj’s whirlwind knock to scamper home in the 15th over. Vansh Bansal made 36 runs, while Aksh Rana remained not out on 26.
