Commerce college pupils awarded degree

Chandigarh, April 18

The annual convocation and prize distribution function were organised at Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Sector 50, here today.

Dinesh Dua, Chief Executive Officer and Director, Nector Lifesciences Ltd, was the chief guest on the occasion.

He congratulated the graduates and prize winners and applauded the efforts of the college towards holistic development of students.

College Principal Dr Manjit Kaur presented the annual report of the college, highlighting the achievements of students.

Vice-Principal Bikramjit Kaur announced the names of the prize winners, who have excelled in academics and co-curricular activities during the year and brought laurels to the college.

Six students were awarded roll of honour in academics, sports and NSS.

In all, 42 students were awarded the college colour and 99 students were given the certificate of merit for achievements in academics, sports, cultural, NSS and various activities.
