Chandigarh: The Science Department of Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, Sector 40-C, Chandigarh, organised a collage-making competition for students of classes VI to VIII on the topic ‘Energy conservation’. Brahmjot Kaur and Kashish bagged the first position, Tanvi and Simran got the second position and Sarvjot and Prabhkamal clinched the third spot.

Prize distribution function 

Jitender Veer Sarvhitkari Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 71, Mohali, organised its annual prize distribution function, ‘UDAAN-2018’. The function included a series of performances on patriotism, unity in diversity, social issues and self defence. The programme concluded with a bhangra performance. Principal Kavita Attri presented the school annual report and achievements.

Annual day

Anee’s School, Kharar, celebrated its annual day with enthusiasm. Students of classes IV to VII presented performances on the themes ranging from devotion to family values, patriotism, unity in diversity, parental love and social issues. Chairman Aneet Goel and Director Adit Goel were the special guests. Principal SK Kala was also present on the occasion.

Noble cause

On the Eve of Christmas, I Sewa For Smile Trust brought smile on the faces of underprivileged children in Sector 52, Mohali, by presenting them Santa caps, cakes, chips and cupcakes. The volunteers from the trust contributed for the noble cause and got into the spirit of giving by delivering hope to the underprivileged.  

Christmas celebrated

AKSIPS-125, Mohali, was abuzz with activities on Christmas. The celebrations began with surprise gifts from Santa. There were various activities organized by faculty members for tiny tots of the school. Principal Jagjit Sekhon urged the students to emulate Lord Jesus’s spirit of forgiveness, mercy and generosity.
