CLTA inks 5-year pact with Spanish club

CHANDIGARH:Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association (CLTA) on Tuesday signed a five-year pact with Spain's Club Atletico Montemar.

Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association (CLTA) on Tuesday signed a five-year pact with Spain's Club Atletico Montemar.

Under the new pact, Club Atletico designated coach and trainer would visit Chandigarh every year to work at CLTA — initially, for a period of 10 training days. 

Also, four children from the CLTA's Chandigarh Academy of Rural Tennis will visit Spain to train in latest global tennis techniques for a period of two or three weeks. 

The pact was signed between CLTA president Jai Singh Gill and Club Atletico founder Joaquin Perez Roman.
