CLDAV Sr Public, Panchkula

CLDAV Sr Public School, Panchkula, participated in SBI Yono Inter-School Quiz and won the overall trophy. Akash Rout, Ganesh and Siddharth of Class X won the first prize. As many as 48 teams from 35 schools of the tricity participated. The quiz comprised several brain teasing rounds which not only tested the nerve and grit of quizzers but also challenged their knowledge beyond textbooks.

The British School, Chandigarh

Students of pre-Primary wing o f the school made colourful kites and learnt to fly these with their teachers' help on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. Teachers explained to the students the importance of the festival.

The Gurukul, Panchkula

Anmol Kaushik, a student of The Gurukul, Panchkula, was a part of the U-17 Boys' Haryana cricket team, which won the finals of the 64th National School Games held in Gujarat. He scored a total of 215 runs in the tournament. He has been selected for the training camp for the selection of the Indian U-17 team. The camp will be held in April this year. Principal Harsimran Kaur congratulated Anmol and coach Rajeev.

PML SD Public, Chandigarh

Arunbir Singh, a Class XI (arts) student of PML SD Public School, Chandigarh, bagged a silver medal in Chandigarh State Wushu Championship organised by the Wushu Association of Chandigarh at Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Aanchal International, Chandigarh

Aanchal International School organised a stress management session for students of Classes IX and X. The students were guided on how to relieve themselves from stress for their upcoming exams. Teachers emphasized on stress relaxation therapies to manage stress.

St Vivekanand Millennium, Pinjore

St Vivekanand Millennium School, HMT Township, Pinjore, organised a 'havan' to seek blessings of the Almighty for the upcoming exams of Classes X and XII on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. 

AKSIPS-41 Smart, Chandigarh

The Disaster Management Club organised a mock drill to train students of Classes pre-Nursery to XII. Students and staff immediately came out of their classrooms and their respective floors using the assigned exits on each floor. They assembled in the open playground. There was a separate corner for first-aid monitored by staff on duty. 

Shemford Futuristic, Pinjore

Students of Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore, were taken to the Doll Museum. They enjoyed watching various categories of dolls. Later, they were taken to the Japanese Garden where they enjoyed playing with their friends and teachers.
