Students, who had appeared in the Class XII mathematics exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today, heaved a sigh of relief and said the paper was not a tough nut to crack.

Daksh, a Class XII student, said, “The paper was easier than expected. Some questions were lengthy. I will be able to score above 80% marks.”

Another student, Neha, said, “A few questions were difficult, but overall paper was easy.”

Shweta Kalra, a maths teacher at Delhi Public School, said, “Some of the children found the paper lengthy, but it was easy. A question on probability was a little confusing for children. They will be able to score well in the exam.”

“The paper was scoring and moderately easy one. A four-mark question on vector bothered students a bit as it was tricky. Many questions were from the textbook and paper was as per the CBSE sample papers,” said Devinder Singh, a mathematics lecturer at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 19.
