The Chandigarh Police on Friday booked Gurpreet Singh, alias happy, sarpanch of Daria village, for a clash at the city railway station on May 15, 2017.

Singh had a clash with a member of the Uber Cab drivers’ Union. The member of the union was injured in the incident.

The police had filed a case on the complaint of Gurmail Singh under Sections 147, 148, 149, 325, 241 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. The accused was later given bail.
