A felicitation ceremony to honour cadets who have brought laurels to the Chandigarh NCC Group in various competitions conducted during pre-Vayu Sainik camp was held here today.

Two Air Wing cadets — Shubham and Sachin Godara — had won the gold medal in aero-modeling, while Aditi had bagged a bronze medal in .22 rifle shooting and Aditi Pandey had won bronze in 12-bore skeet shooting. They were awarded the Group Commanders Appreciation Certificates, along with mementoes and medals.

Appreciating the efforts of officers and instructional staff towards training these cadets, the Group Commander, Brig Ranjit Singh, laid emphasis on the importance of setting goals for a successful professional life. “Goals help us to focus our energy in the right direction and provide us with necessary impetus to succeed in life,” he said.
