CITCO remembers Mahatma Gandhi

CHANDIGARH: To mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, CITCO organised several programmes here today.

To mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, CITCO organised several programmes here today. A cleanliness drive was carried out at all hotels/units of CITCO under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

The purpose behind conducting the drive was to create awareness among the employees regarding cleanliness and its benefits at work place and its surrounding areas. Under this programme, all employees, including the higher management, participated wholeheartedly in the cleanliness drive.

Later, an Indian Vegetarian Food Festival was also organised at Hotel Mountview, Shivalikview and Parkview.

CITCO hotels have also set into motion to phase out single-use plastic products. CITCO managing director Jasvinder Kaur Sidhu said: “CITCO marked Gandhi Jayanti by organising a cleanliness drive and Indian Vegetarian Food Festival at all its hotels with a special emphasis to make our properties plastic-free”.
