CGC Landran signs MoU with Beijing varsity

MOHALI: The Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Landran, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International School of Business, Beijing Foreign Studies University (ISB-BFSU), aimed at augmenting its students’ international exposure.

The Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Landran, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International School of Business, Beijing Foreign Studies University (ISB-BFSU), aimed at augmenting its students’ international exposure.

As a part of the MoU, students from both universities will get an opportunity to study and pursue research under student-exchange programmes. It will help in facilitating research cooperation and faculty-exchange programmes among the two institutions.

Till date, CGC Landran has signed MoUs with over 30 international universities which includes three AACSB accredited B-schools, comprising University of Northern Alabama College of Business, US, IESEG School of Management, France, and SolBridge International School of Business, South Korea.

Satnam Singh Sandhu, chairman, CGC Landran, said, “Innovation, entrepreneurship and commitment to promoting excellence in education have been CGC’s core driving value. This partnership with BFSU will contribute towards reinforcing our students’ subject proficiency and overall development necessary to shape them into business leaders of tomorrow.”

Commenting on the development, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, president, CGC Landran, said, “This MoU will go a long way in promoting quality education and would be mutually beneficial to both partners.”
