Cash stolen from donation box

The police have booked unknown persons on the charge of stealing cash from the donation box of Sanatan Dharam Mandir in Sunny Enclave here.

Sanjay Prasad, priest of the temple, told the police that he had closed the door of the temple a few days ago. When he came to the temple around 5 am the next day, he found the donation box broken. CCTV cameras installed in the temple were also damaged.

The police today registered a case against the suspects under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and started investigations.
