Two snatching incidents were reported from the city on Wednesday night.

In one of the incidents, three miscreants riding an auto-rickshaw snatched money from the victim.

According to the police, Mujadeen a resident of Charan Singh Colony, Mauli Jagran, reported that three unidentified miscreants riding an auto-rickshaw sped away after snatching Rs 2,000 in cash and a mobile phone from him on the road between Railway light point and Transport light point.

The matter was reported to the police, which initiated an investigation into the matter.

In another case, the victim, identified as Brij Nandan Sahni, a resident of Mauli Jagran, alleged that two scooter-borne miscreants snatched Rs 2,200 in cash and documents from him near the cremation ground, Dariya village. The victim informed 

the police, following which a case has been registered at the Industrial Area police station.
