Call for manuscripts by Sahitya Akademi

Chandigarh: The Chandigarh Sahitya Akademi invites city-based writers to submit unpublished book-length manuscripts in Hindi, English, Punjabi and Urdu in the genres of short story, novel, poetry and drama (printed or typed) and children''s literature.

Chandigarh: The Chandigarh Sahitya Akademi invites city-based writers to submit unpublished book-length manuscripts in Hindi, English, Punjabi and Urdu in the genres of short story, novel, poetry and drama (printed or typed) and children's literature. Akademi chairman Madhav Kaushik disclosed that the selected best entries would be given financial assistance for publication under grant-in-aid scheme of the akademi. Entries may be submitted at the Chandigarh Sahitya Akademi office in Divisional Library, Sector 34, by August 10. — OC
