Bus overturns, narrow escape for schoolkids

Around 20 students, who were travelling in a bus of Annies School, Kharar, had a narrow escape on the Saturday morning when their bus overturned. 

Sources said around 8.30 am, the bus was coming to the school and the driver lost control. He was trying to save a motorcycle rider, but the bus overturned and children started crying and shouting. 

The driver and conductor of the bus broke the front mirror and took all children out.  Meanwhile, some other staff member of the school reached the spot and 12 children were taken to the Kharar Civil Hospital from where they were discharged after first aid. School Principal SK Kala said all children were safe.
