BJP and Congress candidates from Panchkula, Gian Chand Gupta and Chander Mohan, today expressed confidence of their victory, moments after casting their vote in the Assembly elections.

Gupta exercised his franchise at a polling booth in Sector 17. He was accompanied by his wife Bimla Devi. While talking to the media, he said, “I have carried out development works in my constituency. Panchkula was neglected when Chander Mohan was MLA. People are well aware of everything. Lotus will bloom once again in Haryana and the BJP will form the leadership in the state.” Chander Mohan cast his vote at a booth in Sector 8. He was joined by his wife Seema Bishnoi, son Siddharth Bishnoi and daughter-in-law Shatakshi Bishnoi. Mohan said he was 100 per cent sure of his victory from Panchkula. “I thank voters and the party workers for supporting me throughout,” he said. He also visited polling booths across the constituency to cheer up his party workers. — TNS

Chandigarh: BJP’s Gian Gupta exercised his franchise at a polling booth in Sector 17. He said, “I have carried out development works in my constituency.” Congress’ Chander Mohan cast his vote at a booth in Sector 8. He said he was 100 per cent sure of his victory from Panchkula.
