Bhavan Vidyalaya

Panchkula: At Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, 180 students joined a learning event — ‘The Hour of Code’— which was organised as part of Computer Science Education Week. ‘The Hour of Code’ is designed to demystify code and show that computer science can be learnt by anyone, according to Hadi Partovi, Co-Founder of Code.org. Students explored the possibilities through coding during the programme. Students were also awarded a ‘Certification of Completion’. The Session was conducted by Kadam Bhambari and Ajay Godara of Enovate Skill (a start-up of NITTTR, Sector 26, Chandigarh).

St Vivekanand

Pinjore: St Vivekanand Millennium School, HMT Township, Pinjore, in collaboration with Rama Krishna Mission Ashram, Chandigarh, works for expounding the ideals of Swami Vivekanand for the good of humanity. Students and teachers, under the banner of VCUM, distributed 20 blankets among the needy. The initiative was ‘Daridra Narayan Sewa’. Families living in slums areas of Panchkula and Kalka were provided with one blanket and 1 kg of rice and pulses

Dera Bassi: The pre-primary section of ATS Valley School, Dera Bassi, organised an event to celebrate Grandparents' Day on the school premises.
