Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh, organised its annual sports meet at Sports Stadium, Sector 7, Chandigarh. Senior Principal Vineeta Arora declared the meet open by releasing balloons into the sky. This was followed by school captain Amisha Singh administering the oath to all athletes. A large number of events such as track races, long jump, discus throw and shot put were held. 'Tug of war' for senior boys and girls and 4x100 relay races were the highlight of the day.

Manav Mangal 

Manav Mangal Group of Schools announced the opening of its fifth branch Manav Mangal Smart School (Junior) at Sector 91, Mohali,  which is an extension of Manav Mangal Smart School, Sector 64, Mohali. The new branch will be fully air-conditioned.

PML SD

The Central Bank of India, Sector 32-C, Chandigarh, organised Vigilance Awareness Week at PML SD Public School, Sector 32-C, Chandigarh. Students of Classes XI and XII participated in a debate on the topic 'Eradication of corruption in the memory of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel'. The participants were given prizes.

St Soldier 

St Soldier School, Dhakoli, celebrated its annual sports day with enthusiasm. Students competed in events such as sprint, sack race, obstacle race and three-legged race. The winners were awarded prizes by the principal.

Satluj Public School 

The three-day 42nd annual function of Satluj Public School, Sector 2, Panchkula, concluded on its campus. A tribute was paid to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The mystic journey of Hansel and Gratel depicting that courage was not the absence of fear, but triumph over it was presented by students of Grade III through a musical ballet. More than 500 meritorious students who have excelled in curricular and co-curricular fields were awarded trophies and certificates. Director Pritam Singh Serai was also present on the occasion.

SD Sr Sec School 

SD Senior Secondary School, Sector 24-C, Chandigarh, organised annual sports meet for Classes Nursery to X. Multiple races such as 200m, hurdle race, matki balance race, hula hoop race, slow cycling race, balloon race, tug of war, shot put, discus throw and other events were were held in which students participated with enthusiasm.
