B’desh delegates get training

Punjab Biotechnology Incubator (PBTI), under the Department of Science, Technology and Environment, Government of Punjab, has organised a five-day training workshop on ‘Detection of Genetically-Modified Organisms (GMOs)’ for officials of the Ministry of Environment and Forests and scientists of the Department of Environment, Government of Bangladesh, here.

The training workshop was inaugurated today by Dr TR Sharma, Executive Director, National Agri Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI), Mohali. The workshop is to strengthen the capabilities of developing countries in the GMO detection.
