The Chandigarh Athletics Association has selected the local team to participate in the 31st North Zone Athletics Meet, scheduled to be held in Jammu & Kashmir on September 10-11.

Squad: (Boys’ U-20) Parteek (triple jump), Tarandeep Singh (100m, 200m), Parkash Singh (100m, 200m), Aalam Dhanoa (400m), Basant Chauhan (1500m), Chirag Gupta (high jump), Sahil Chechi (discus throw); Girls’ U-20: Divyanshi Shukla (100m, 200m).

Boys’ U-18: Damanjot Singh (100m, 200m, medley), Ayush Raikhy (100m, medley), Karanveer Singh (200m, medley), Lovepreet Singh (shot put), Amrit Pal Singh (hammer throw), Umesh (medley). 

Girls’ U-18:  Mehtab Kaur Sidhu (100m, 200m), Sonakshi (1500m), Ruchika Rawat (5000 walk race), Arshitha Rao (long jump), Khushi Rana (shot put), Umesh (medley); Boys’ U-16:  Vijay Partap Singh (100m), Rohit Singh (100m),  Hemkesh (200m), Stanes Isaac (400m), Dev Ashish Patwal (2000m),  Rachit (shot put).

Girls’ U-16: Jashandeep Kaur (100m, 200m), Harleen Kaurm (100m, 200m), Aman (2000m); Boys’ U-14: Mohinder Kumar (600m, long jump), Gurjant Singh (shot put), Ayman Ayush Angrish (long jump, high jump); Boys’ U-14: Harleen Purewal (shot put), Amandeep Kaur (100m, 600m) and Punya Handa (100m, high jump).
