A faculty development programme on problem solving assessment (PSA) was conducted for teachers at Ashmah International School, Sector 70, Mohali. The objective of the workshop was to make teachers aware about the information regarding the PSA and to promote and assess the analytical reasoning decision making skills and critical thinking of students.

Solitaire International, Panchkula

Paper-bag making remained the activity of the day during a summer camp – Beat the Heat II — at Solitaire International School, Sector 20, Panchkula. Students used old newspaper to make paper bags and decorated them creatively. Importance of clean environment and implications of 3Rs — recycle, reuse and reduce — were discussed. 

AKSIPS-41, Chandigarh

A pen-stand activity was conducted for the students of Class III, wherein students used plastic bottles, juice containers, empty biscuits and boxes to make pen stands. They thoroughly enjoyed the fun-filled activity and learnt to use waste to create utility items and do their bit in reducing waste.  TNS
