Aryan Thakur beat Harmanjot Singh Minhas to confirm his berth in the boys’ U-18 category main draw of the CLTA-AITA Championship Series (CS-7) Tennis Tournament at the CLTA Complex, Sector 10.

Thakur lost the first set 4-6, but returned to win the next two 6-2 6-4. In another final qualifying round match, Navya Verma registered a 6-1 6-1 win over Svamin Sharma. Anish Lal overpowered Samar Bir Singh Sidhu 6-2 6-2. Gaurav Kumar defeated Vipul Pratap Singh 6-2 6-3 and Lokender Pun blanked Yash Baghel 6-3 6-1. Amaan Mohd Siddiqui beat Sarthak Gandhi 6-1 6-3, while Dhananjay Singh beat Faraz Shakir 6-3 6-1.

In the boys’ U-14 category, Arhaan Pahwa outclassed Yash Solanki 6-0 6-0. Arush Sharma logged a 6-3 6-4 win over Hardik Khanduja. Parth Mehra beat Janish Tamak 6-2 6-4. Yashsvi Balhara registered a hard-fought win over Kesav Dangi. Balhara won the first set 7-5 but Dangi won the second set 6-3. In the final set, Balhara logged a 6-4 win. Vansh Kamra easily defeated Pranay Sharma 6-0 6-1 while Abdullah Shakir defeated Anirudh Sangra 6-2 6-3.
