A trip to Shimla and Naldehra was organised for Classes XI and XII of AKSIPS-41 Smart School, Chandigarh. During their stay in Shimla, children visited various tourist attractions such as Mall Road, Christ Church, Wax Museum and Jakhu temple. The children were also taken around for sightseeing. They enjoyed activities like Zipline and Nature Walk at Naldehra. 

Rayat Bahra starts new courses

Mohali: Rayat Bahra University on Monday introduced a number of new programmes in collaboration with top multinational companies to increase the employment potential of students. Among the new age programmes include BTech in Android Development in collaboration with Google, IoT and Java in collaboration with Oracle and BTech in Design and Development in collaboration with Siemens. Dr Daljit Singh, Vice-Chancellor, said, "The university offers attractive scholarship schemes which include cent per cent waiver in tuition fee for students whose both parents are not alive, 50 per cent tuition fee waiver for students whose father is not alive, 50 per cent tuition fee waiver to single girl child born to her parents, and 25 per cent tuition fee waiver to siblings studying in the Rayat Bahra Group."
