An unbeaten half-century by Aksh Rana enabled hosts St Joseph's School register a 51-run win over Vivek High School, Sector 38, and enter the semifinal of the U-14 Super League Cricket Tournament here on Thursday. 

Batting first, the hosts made 134/5 in 20 overs, with Rana hitting nearly run-a-ball 51. Shivam Bhambri was the most effective bowler for the visitors, claiming 2/23. 

Vivek High School, in reply, could only manage 83/7 in the allotted overs.  

In another quarterfinal, Learning Paths Academy, Mohali, beat Warriors Chandigarh by four wickets.

Batting first, Warriors made 119/6 in 20 overs. Learning Paths, in reply, reached home in 19.4 overs with four wickets to spare. — TNS
