Students of Classes IV to IX at Tribune Model School presented their annual musical programme, “Nav Chetna”. The show commenced with the mesmerising presentation of Raga Shankara by the school choir.

Under the direction of Vijay Kumar, Anish Benjwal and Sarika, Baul Fakirs unfolded the state of human mind, consequences of common reactions and recognition of the righteous path. A melodious recital composed by Atul Dubey brought life to the show.

Himanshu as Gurmukh, a car mechanic, promoted namaskar, sanskar, paropkar and sakshatkar as the foundation of a peaceful life. Mehak as Narada showcased the transilience of Ratnakar, the traitor played by Sumit, into Rishi Valmiki.

The audience was captivated by the choreography of Suchitra and Rahul Gupta. Bhavesh, as an old man, exemplified the karma by recollecting his actions to save his own son from the agony of the deeds, he himself went through.

Shivansh portrayed the journey of Pundlik, an addict who turns into a devotee of Lord Vithala through the guidance of Kukut Muni, who teaches him the virtue of right conduct as a basis of the purification of the soul. Ashish conceptualised the blend of the mind, body and soul through yoga asanas. 

The creative set, design by Amanpreet and Harinder, added authenticity to the programme. Principal Vandana Saxena congratulated students and teachers for presenting a thought-provoking show.
