Degrees were given to 725 students during the annual convocation of Khalsa College here today. 

Dr Deborah L Ford, Chancellor, University of Wisconsin, Parkside, USA, was the chief guest. Dr Abey Kuruvilla, Executive Director, International Affairs, University of Wisconsin, Parkside, USA, was the guest of honour. College Principal Dharminder Singh Ubha read the annual report and highlighted the fact that Khalsa College was the first college in the Northern India to start PhD course in various streams. Dr Deborah L Ford, Dr Abey Kuruvilla, Dharminder Singh Ubha and Controller of Examination Ravinderjit Singh presented degrees to the students.

Dr Ford said Khalsa College was fulfilling the global demand for talent. She said she was proud of the MoU between the University of Wisconsin and Khalsa College. Dr Ford highlighted the importance of building confidence among students.
