47-year-old hangs himself from tree

The Mullanpur Garibdass police have recovered a body hanging from a tree on Togga Marg today. 

The deceased has been identified Santosh Kumar (47). Station House Officer Rajesh Hasthir said the deceased used to run a shop in Behlolpur village and was missing from the past five to six days. 

He said the police had recovered a suicide note in which Santosh has mentioned that he was being harassed by six persons and was ending his life. 

The police have registered a case under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code against six persons and have begun the investigation.
