A 35-year-old factory worker was stabbed to death in Naraingarh on Tuesday.

The victim has been identified as Sumit Kumar Yadav, a native of Darbangha in Bihar. Yadav was putting up at a rented accommodation in Naraingarh and was working at a private factory in Kala Amb.

The victim’s colleague Krishan Kumar, told the police that around 9.20 pm yesterday, he got a call from Yadav to come to Ram Lila Ground in Naraingarh for watching Rasleela show. “I called Yadav on his mobile at around 9.45 pm number. Someone else answered the call and asked me to visit the Naraingarh Civil Hospital.”

He said on reaching the hospital, a doctor told him that Yadav had sustained a deep injury in his chest following which he died. Kumar held that Ramandeep Singh, alias, Rama, a resident of Naraingarh, responsible for Yadav’s murder.

The police have registered a case under Section 302 of the IPC.
