As online admission process concluded at Panjab University (PU), 34,369 candidates registered themselves for 5311 seats. This information was given by Prof Shankarji Jha, Dean of University Instructions (DUI), PU, Chandigarh, during a meeting of the Admission Monitoring Committee today.

He said 18,193 applicants submitted complete applications which were 2,332 more as compared to the last year.

Moreover, the candidates who had applied online for the current academic session under the Reserved Categories and their claim for category/weightage was rejected on any account, can appear for reconsideration of their claim on July 13 from 9 am to 5 pm at Law Auditorium, PU, along with original documents. — TNS
