Vivek High School, Chandigarh, declared open the fifth International Model Nations Conference (MUN) on Thursday. The four-day conference, with total 325 delegates from India and abroad, deliberated on the theme "Ubi Concordia Ibi Victoria. The theme laid emphasis on the constant need of unity and co-existence as a single unit to confront all hardships to emerge victorious. The committees were divided into nine categories and deliberated on agendas such as complications of the United Nations for the use of force regime, advantages and disadvantages of digital world for children, solutions for conflict within Korean peninsula, protecting and promoting human rights. — TNS
