29-year-old hit by mobike, injured

A 29-year-old man sustained injuries after he was allegedly hit by a motorcycle on Tuesday.

The victim identified as Dalip, a resident of Dera Bassi, recorded his statement with the police, following which a case was registered.

The police said the victim ran a juice cart and was about to cross the road when he was reportedly hit by a motorcycle near Devinagar, Dera Bassi. He was first rushed to the Civil Hospital from where he was referred to GMCH, Sector-32, Chandigarh, where he was undergoing treatment, the police said.

The police have registered a case under relevant sections of the IPC at Dera Bassi police station. Further investigations were on, the police added. — OC
