23 vehicles fined for noise pollution

MOHALI:In a special drive, the Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB), along with the traffic police, challaned 23 vehicles for noise pollution using pressure horns and modified silencers.

In a special drive, the Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB), along with the traffic police, challaned 23 vehicles for noise pollution using pressure horns and modified silencers.

A total fine of Rs 22,000 was collected at five nakas that were set up across the town. The team claimed to have checked 320 vehicles during the drive. — TNS
