217 visit city police stations for redressal of grievances

CHANDIGARH: As many as 217 complainants turned up at city police stations during the fifth public grievance redressal camp on Saturday. It is held on every second Saturday of the month and was started in August.

As many as 217 complainants turned up at city police stations during the fifth public grievance redressal camp on Saturday. It is held on every second Saturday of the month and was started in August.  A camp was also organised at the cyber crime investigation cell where 35 people turned up.

As per information received from the police, 14 people visited the Sector 3 police station, 23 and nine visited the Sector 11 and 17 police stations, respectively. Seven went to the Sarangpur police station. As many as 14 people visited the Sector 19 police station while 13 visited Sector 26, five visited the Industrial Area police station, 10 went to Mani Majra, 13 to Mauli Jagran, 12 to IT Park, four to Sector 31, 12 to Sector 34, six to Sector 36, 19 to Sector 49 and seven to the Maloya police station.
