18 teams to compete in global moot court today

CHANDIGARH: As many as 18 teams from world’s top law universities and institutes are all set to participate in The Tenth Leiden Sarin International Air Law Moot Court Competition scheduled to be held at the Army Institute of Law on Friday.

As many as 18 teams from world’s top law universities and institutes are all set to participate in The Tenth Leiden Sarin International Air Law Moot Court Competition scheduled to be held at the Army Institute of Law on Friday.

Coordinator Nitin Sarin says the participants are from Canada, China, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Hong Kong, India and other countries. The competition will be inaugurated by the Punjab and Haryana High Court Chief Justice Krishna Murari.

The Secretary-General of the Sarin Memorial Legal Aid Foundation, ML Sarin, says Lt Gen Surinder Singh, GOC-in-C, Western Command, and patron-in-chief of the Army Institute of Law, will address the gathering. — TNS
