15 Punjab cricketers in 12th edition of IPL

MOHALI:Fifteen Punjab cricketers will feature in the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League which starts with a match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidanbaram Stadium in Chennai on Staurday.

Fifteen Punjab cricketers will feature in the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League which starts with a match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidanbaram Stadium in Chennai on Staurday.  

While Ravichandran Ashwin-led Kings XI Punjab has roped in Punjab captain Mandeep Singh, young batting sensation Prabshsimran Singh, speedster Arshdeep Singh and left-arm spinner Harpreet Brar, veteran Yuvraj Singh, 

pacer Barinder Saran, Anmolpreet Singh and 

leg spinner Mayank Markande will turn out for Mumbai Indians.

Top-order batsman Manan Vohra switched over to Rajasthan Royals for this season and all-rounder Gurkirat Mann will feature in Royal Challengers Bangalore. 

Young Punjab all-rounder Abhishek Sharma, Siddharth Kaul and pacer Sandeep Sharma will represent Sunrisers Hyderabad. 

Shubman Gill will once again don the Kolkata Knight Riders jersey, while veteran Harbhajan Singh will be a part of MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings.

Sale of tickets begins today

Kings XI Punjab management on Friday said it would start the sale of tickets for its home matches at IS Bindra PCA Stadium in Mohali from Saturday. Fans can get tickets from stadium gate No. 1 — online ticket redemption and sales, gate No. 4 and booth No. 104 in Sector 63, said the franchise. Kings XI Punjab is scheduled to play all their seven homes matches in Mohali. The first match at the PCA Stadium will be played on March 30.
