CHANDIGARH: The health supervisor of the sanitation wing of the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation issued 14 challans for insanitary conditions and using plastic items at a market in Sector 35 here today.

The health supervisor of the sanitation wing of the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation issued 14 challans for insanitary conditions and using plastic items at a market in Sector 35 here today.

The sanitation wing also organised a “say no to plastic” campaign at the Grain Market in Sector 26. Federal Bank took part in the campaign as CSR associate.

Mayor Rajesh Kumar, SDM (Central) Nazuk Kumar, area councillor Dalip Sharma, Medical Officer of Health Dr Amrit Warring, ITBP staff, and others were present.

During the campaign, the Mayor and others distributed cloth bags among buyers and rehri vendors.
