12 held for travelling in women’s coach

CHANDIGARH: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) on Tuesday arrested 12 persons for travelling in the women’s compartment.

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) on Tuesday arrested 12 persons for travelling in the women’s compartment. They were released on bail later. A team led by RPF Inspector Rajesh Rana had conducted a special drive against those travelling in the women’s compartment.

160 liquor bottles seized

The RPF seized 160 bottles of liquor from a Bihar resident at the city railway station. The suspect has been identified as Inder Kumar. The bottles were meant for sale in Bihar.— TNS
