116 volunteers donate blood at camp

Chandigarh, December 2

The Faculty Association (FA), in collaboration with the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) and HDFC Bank, organised the annual blood donation camp at the PGI here today.

The camp was dedicated to Dr Saugata Choudhary, Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGI. As many as 116 volunteers donated blood at the camp. Prof Jagat Ram, Director, PGIMER, appreciated the role of the FA in promoting voluntary blood donation and recognising contribution of its staffer Dr Saugata Choudhary.

Prof RR Sharma, Head, Department of Transfusion Medicine, and Dr Suchet, Associate Professor, Transfusion Medicine, supervised the camp along with key staff. Prof JS Thakur, president, FA, and other members of the association were also present. — TNS
