11-year-old boy goes missing from hospital

PATIALA: The Patiala police have lodged a complaint of a missing 11-year-old boy. The boy, Harmanjeet Singh, is missing since August 2.

The Patiala police have lodged a complaint of a missing 11-year-old boy. The boy, Harmanjeet Singh, is missing since August 2. A case has been registered under Section 356 (kidnapping or abducting, with an intent secretly and wrongfully to confine a person) against an unknown person at Lahori Gate Police Station. 

The missing boy was an orphan and was sent to Rajinder Deva Orphanage in Patiala. The boy was taken to Mata Kaushlya Hospital for a medical check-up on August 2 by the warden of the orphanage. As per the account of the warden, the boy went to drink water in the hospital, and did not return. 

The police informed that case has been registered and search operations underway. Until now, there is no clue of the missing boy, informed the police.
