Chandigarh: A movie, “Awake”, on the life of Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda was screened at the auditorium of the National Institute of Nursing Education, PGI. Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda is an author of internationally acclaimed book “Autobiography of a Yogi”. PGI Director Prof Jagat Ram, along with Deputy Director Dr Amitabh Awasthi, was the chief guest and guest of honour, respectively. Eminent doctors, nurses, medical students and YSS devotees attended the screening of the movie. The event was arranged by the Yogoda Satsanga Society (YSS) of India, Chandigarh Centre, as part of the centenary celebrations of the YSS (1917-2017) in association with the PGI, Chandigarh. Dr Madhu Khullar and Dr Pallavi Joshi welcomed the audience. It was also accompanied by a book exhibition of YSS publications. More than 250 people attended the programme. TNS
