World IT spending to dip by 5.5% this year: Report

No-frills carrier IndiGo on Tuesday approached capital markets regulator SEBI with IPO plans to raise an estimated Rs 2,500 crore from the public investors.

Worldwide IT spending is likely to decline by 5.5% this year in comparison to 2014 with a total of $3.5 trillion to be spent by companies across the world. According to the latest forecast by research firm Gartner, the decline in the spending would be as a result of the rising US dollar. TNS

Shares of Nestle India rose by nearly 5% on Tuesday after the Bombay High Court allowed the company to export Maggi noodles. The stock ended the day with a gain of 4.60% at Rs 6,345.65 on the BSE. During the day, it climbed 5.17% to Rs 6,380.70. PTI
