Sterling Biotech assets to be seized

NEW DELHI: The PMLA Adjudicating Authority in New Delhi on Thursday confirmed the provisional attachment order of Rs 4,700-crore in Sterling Biotech group by the Enforcement Directorate, the agency informed in a press release.

NEW DELHI: The PMLA Adjudicating Authority in New Delhi on Thursday confirmed the provisional attachment order of Rs 4,700-crore in Sterling Biotech group by the Enforcement Directorate, the agency informed in a press release. The central probe agency through its order dated May 29 had attached properties of Sterling Biotech group and also movable and immovable properties of associate companies PMT Machines Ltd, Sterling Port Ltd, Sterling SEZ Infra Pvt Ltd and personal properties of their promoters Nitin Sandesara, Chetan Sandesara and Ms Dipti Sandesara. The properties are spread across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka and Delhi. TNS
