The BSE Sensex raced to record high for the fourth session in a row on Thursday on the back of encouraging June quarter results and global cues.

The Sensex surpassed the 37,000-mark to touch a high of 37,061.62 (intra-day). It finally ended 126.41 points higher at 36,984.64. The Nifty also hit a record intra-day high of 11,185.85, before closing at new peak of 11,167.30. — PTI
