Home Credit to offer loan in five minutes

CHANDIGARH: Home Credit India Finance Pvt. Ltd., a consumer finance Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) focusing on lending to primarily first time loan takers, has captured 94% market share in Chandigarh in the consumer durable loans category up to Rs 10,000 during FY 2015-16, according to a recent report by CRIF, an international financial analyst firm.

Home Credit India Finance Pvt. Ltd., a consumer finance Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) focusing on lending to primarily first time loan takers, has captured 94% market share in Chandigarh in the consumer durable loans category up to Rs 10,000 during FY 2015-16, according to a recent report by CRIF, an international financial analyst firm.

The company further extended its gains in the last quarter of FY16 by increasing their market share to 98% in the city. Buoyed by the response, the company will focus on improving customer satisfaction by providing hassle-free, speedy loan approvals in five minutes.

Chandigarh also has the unique distinction of being the first city to offer 0% loans from Home Credit in India and today contributes 50% of all 0% consumer durable loans from Home Credit in the country.

Ms Simran Soni, CXO, Home Credit India Pvt. Ltd., said, “We will launch a consumer campaign “Behtar Zindagi 5 Minute Mein” in Chandigarh. It will focus on improving customer satisfaction by providing hassle-free loan approvals in five minutes. The initiative will be launched across the country through 4,000 Point-of-Sale (PoS) outlets across 14 states. The company’s offerings primarily consist of providing in-store financing (direct non-cash loans in retail outlets) to qualified customers looking to purchase consumer durable goods such as home appliances, laptop/tablets, electronic goods, mobile phones and two-wheelers.”

Besides India, Home Credit BV has operations in 10 countries across Europe, Asia and North America.

The company is currently operating in Delhi NCR, Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Lucknow, Pune, Bhopal, Indore, Kanpur, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Coimbatore etc.
